Roman turned SIX!

We cannot thank you all enough for your generosity during Roman's birthday month! We had a goal to raise $6,000 during the month of September in honor of Roman's 6th birthday and we have exceeded that! We were able to raise $8,680 total for his birthday fundraiser! This is amazing. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who contributed or shared our story.

A few other fun updates for the month:

-We launched our "Defying the Odds, Embracing the Rare" t-shirts this month (sizes 3-6mo up to 3XL adult). We also have coffee mugs! Everything is free shipping in the United States too :) Order yours today!

-We had an amazing opportunity a few months ago when Chris Ulmer from Special Books by Special Kids came out and interviewed us for his youtube channel! Special Books by Special Kids is one of the largest disability platforms in the world so we feel SO incredibly grateful to get the chance to use this platform to educate and spread awareness about ASMD and our family's story. Our video is now out on his youtube channel, so check it out!

-I recently released some exciting news on my latest podcast episode. For those who haven't listened, I will fill you in: I am releasing a CHILDREN'S BOOK! The book is called "Soaring Together: A Butterfly Family's Story of Discovery, Love, and Resilience." This has been a project I have been quietly working on for years now and I am so excited to see it all come together. I obviously drew ALL my inspiration from our two little ones. We are in the final stages of getting it up for sale, so stay tuned!

-Lastly, the biggest and best news of all for this month was that Roman turned SIX! We celebrated in a big way with a party at the zoo with a bunch of family and friends. Roman had so much fun! It really was a perfect day. It means the world to us to be able to make these kinds of memories with our children. We really would not be where we are today without the love and support of all of you, so we cannot thank you all enough.
